Everyone could use a little extra cash to pay the bills. KSTV would like to help! KSTV will be randomly selecting 3 winners, one at the end of each month starting in February and ending in April. Winners must present a copy of a currently due utility bill, and we will pay that bill (maximum of $150). Just another way to win from the station that makes winning easy, The Mighty 93! KSTV has partnered with a few New Mexico ski providers to promote some great vacation ideas.
Did you know that insufficient nutrition in young children can inhibit growth and affect brain development? It’s true! Studies have shown that hungry children suffer two to four times as many health problems as other children. The weekend can mean hunger to many area children who depend on school meals for their primary nutrition. Cross Timbers Backpack Buddies (using the Tarrant Area Food Bank as a primary food source) provides sacks filled with child-friendly, nonperishable food to students most at risk of being hungry on the weekends. The food is distributed on Friday afternoons at their schools and provides food for the students and their school-aged siblings.
